Commited to education, conservation and community development
SharedGlobalRoots is more than a web address—it’s a guiding vision. Our work through Poseidon&Calipso builds bridges across cultures, empowering communities to learn, co-create, and grow together. We are nurturing global roots that honor diversity, promote sustainability, and foster resilience. Together, we’re cultivating a future rooted in shared values, cross-cultural empowerment, and inclusive education.
At Poseidon&Calipso, we envision communities where sustainability, art, and equity intertwine to create strong and resilient societies. We aspire to be a cultural bridge between Venezuela and Sweden, blending the richness of our traditions with artistic, technological, and social innovation.
We see ourselves as a model social enterprise that proves it is possible to generate profits while protecting the environment, rescuing vulnerable animals, and empowering people of all abilities, genders, religions, and cultures. Our goal is to be recognized as a beacon of inclusion, where recycling is incorporated and transformed into everyday products, highlighted through artistic creation and expression. We are fully committed to breaking barriers through education and are convinced that the well-being of our society flourishes in harmony with nature and our fellow human beings.
“We are a team passionate about uniting forces across cultures, disciplines, and dreams.”
We are convinced that diversity is our greatest strength, source of success, and inspiration. Our team combines experts in corporate responsibility and circular economy, committed artists, educators, innovators, and volunteers from Venezuela, Sweden, and other parts of the world, all united by a common goal: to create lasting impacts where they are most needed.
In November 1999, a meeting on a bus to Choroní and a mountain hike led to over 20 years of marriage, two Afro-Viking daughters who inspire us daily to leave a green footprint for future generations, and an unforgettable adventure visiting numerous cultures, territories, and ways of life.
Encounters with other cultures opened a vast window of knowledge in various areas of our lives, highlighting the impact of responsible tourism, the importance of volunteers, and the enrichment represented by cultural exchanges.
